Scholarships

 

A $500 College Scholarship will be awarded to Two Baseball players who have participated on Junior Saltdogs teams.

Eligibility

  1. Current high school Senior enrolled in an accredited high school, graduating spring 2020.
  2. Applied to a 2 or 4-year accredited college or university.
  3. Participated on Junior Saltdogs League teams for at least two years.

To apply:  Complete the 2020 JSL Scholarship Application Form linked here and mail it with one letter of recommendation (postmarked by April 15, 2020) to:

The Scholarship Selection Committee reviews all applications and selects the recipients. The winners are notified by mail in May/June, and recognized in the Season Highlights article in the Journal Star’s Neighborhood Extra in August.

Upon notification, scholarship recipients will need to provide proof of college or university acceptance to receive scholarship. The scholarship check will be sent directly to the college/university financial aid office.
