All umpire positions have been filled for the 2017 season. If you were hired, you will receive confirmation in writing by April 20th along with additional details about the MANDATORY Umpire Clinic/Meeting for new hires which will be held in April. New umpires to Jr Saltdogs MUST attend or they will not be hired. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you are interested in being an umpire for Jr Saltdogs for our 2018 season, please check back in February 2018 for the application form.
Umpires must have internet access as all games will be self-assigned using Arbitersports.com on a first come, first serve basis. Umpire candidates must be at least 14 yrs old by May 1, 2018. Experience is not required; however, a basic understanding of baseball and the rules is necessary.
The heaviest evenings for JSL games are Monday and Tuesday nights at 6pm and 8pm. If you have other commitments on these nights, then this will not be the right position for you.
